As the fifth most populous state, Illinois is home to one of the busiest cities in the United States — Chicago. It is also home to the Port of Chicago which connects the state to other global ports through the Great Lakes. Illinois is a major transportation hub and houses one of the country’s busiest airports, O’Hare International Airport. We also cannot forget the delicious Chicago-style pizza!
